Last weekend I got the chance to finally do the Hobby Lobby Challenge. If you don't know what that is, it's basically a photo shoot inside the store. We are encouraged to use the products for our portraits. I took my niece as my model and my nephew as my helper. If you guys are interested in the challenge, I would recommend taking someone else to help you carry stuff during the photo shoot. There are times when you need someone else to hold a product in order for you to take the photo or if you're carrying other stuff such as equipment. Another thing I would recommend is taking only one camera and one lens because even when you have an equipment bag, it tends to get in the way when you are kneeling, sitting, and moving between aisles.
I also recommend not starting in the flower section. I know it's tempting to go there first, but I believe going to a random section of the store would be more of a challenge since you have to think more creatively. I started in the mirror section:
I actually forgot to take scene photos when I was doing the photo shoot, so when I went back to the store to take them the mirror I used in the original shoot was gone. But this definitely was the place I took the photo.
